Born in 1825, William Larue Weller is possibly the first to produce a straight bourbon using wheat instead of the traditional rye. First produced in 1849, the smooth and easy drinking WL Weller wheated whiskey is now made at the famous Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfurt, Kentucky. Aged in oak barrels with a distinctive green stamp, WL Weller is known for its soft woodiness and butterscotch aroma.
