Ground Walnut Shell Masters Series Blank

Regular price $10.00

A walnut pen might not be exactly groundbreaking, but using the ground up shells for the coloring of resin might qualify as a little different. Walnut was used as dye for both hair and fabric for many years. Thanks to our mixer technology, we're able to suspend the walnut powder in the resin for a deep rich natural brown color. (With just a hint of sparkle of course!)

Note: Due to the nature of the walnut powder, even we can't get it to mix 100%. There will be some small pieces of walnut distributed throughout the resin. It doesn't impact machineability and is just the nature of a natural pigment like this.

A chameleon material, this blank is: from one angle gold ore; from another, silver ore; at a third, it is pyrite; and from another, it is all of these and more. Beautiful work, McKenzie Penworks. Great job guys. keep it up

So many words to describe this blank; dazzling, spectacular, brilliant, are just a few to start the list. I only wish we could post pictures so I could see what others have done with this and other Diamondcast products. Maybe server space won't allow it. Think about it anyway, Tim. ;-)
